Key Responsibilities

  • Design, write, and maintain clear, accurate, and comprehensive technical documentation, including user guides, API documentation, online help, release notes, and knowledge base articles.
  • Collaborate closely with product management, engineering, quality assurance, and UX teams to understand product features and functionality.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into easily understandable content for various audiences, from novice users to experienced developers.
  • Gather and integrate feedback from internal stakeholders and external users to continuously improve documentation.
  • Ensure documentation adheres to established style guides, terminology, and branding standards.
  • Participate in product reviews and testing to ensure accuracy and completeness of product information.
  • Manage documentation projects from planning to publication, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of documentation tools, templates, and processes.
  • Proactively identify documentation gaps and propose solutions to enhance the overall user experience.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical Writer for software products.
  • Proven ability to write clear, concise, and technically accurate documentation.
  • Expertise with documentation tools (e.g., Markdown, DITA, XML, MadCap Flare, RoboHelp, AsciiDoc).
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and agile methodologies.
  • Experience documenting APIs, SDKs, or developer tools.
  • Excellent command of English grammar, style, and vocabulary.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, Computer Science, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Adobe products (e.g., Creative Cloud, Experience Cloud, Document Cloud).
