Charlie Yates Golf Course is located just minutes from downtown Atlanta. In 1998, Rees Jones redesigned East Lake’s old Number 2 course to reach its current layout at the Charlie Yates Golf Course. The ceremonial first drive of the newly designed Yates course was by Tiger Woods and East Lake’s Junior Golf Academy members.<br><br>Located in the award-winning East Lake community, the Charlie Yates Golf Course features a driving range, chipping and putting areas, and a newly renovated clubhouse. The club is a leader in the community for junior, beginners, and minority golf instruction programs.<br><br>Responsibilities of the Cart and Range Attendant at Charlie Yates Golf Course include:<br><br><ul><li>Completing daily opening or closing procedures.</li><li>Hand picking certain areas of the short game area.</li><li>Touring the cart staging area, bag drop, and driving range several times an hour to ensure it is operating accordingly.</li><li>Keeping the golf carts organized and clean with pencils, scorecards, tees, etc.</li><li>Checks golf carts for damage and washes carts on a daily basis.</li><li>Responsible for daily operations of range ball recovery utilizing both mechanical and hand machinery and equipment.</li><li>Assisting the Head Golf Professional with the cart staging during all tournament operations.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Required Skills<br><br></strong><ul><li>Ability to operate machinery.</li><li>Knowledge and execution of safe driving principles and practices.</li><li>Evaluation of customer satisfaction and responsiveness. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Physical Demands & Work Environment Requirements<br><br></strong>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to:<br><br><ul><li>Walk and stand for long periods of time, sit, bend, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.</li><li>Lift up to 50 lbs. regularly; up to 75 lbs. occasionally and to lift overhead and push/pull, move heavy objects.</li><li>The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
