About the position

Our client, a higher education institution, is actively seeking a contract Human Resources Assistant to join their HR team! This is the ideal opportunity for a proven HR candidate who is eager to contribute to a high-performing team. The role is designed for individuals who have a strong foundation in Human Resources and are looking to enhance their experience within a dynamic educational environment. The position is expected to last at least two months and offers a competitive pay rate of $20/hour. As a Human Resources Assistant, you will be responsible for documenting and maintaining employee files and information using the Kronos system. You will assist with the daily administration of the employee lifecycle, including processing data change requests. Your analytical skills will be put to use as you prepare and analyze reports regarding employee data, assisting with audits and compliance reports as needed. You will act as a main point of contact for employees regarding updates of employee data and will work cross-functionally with various business units to improve processes and resolve any issues that may arise. Additionally, you will complete employment verifications and reference checks as required.
