About the position

The Correspondence Billing Specialist at Labcorp is responsible for evaluating and processing client and patient correspondence, ensuring clear and accurate communication. This role involves utilizing various systems to manage billing requests, adjustments, and follow-ups, while adapting to a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Review correspondence requests to send invoices, transfer, make adjustments, and research claim updates in the billing system.

  • Compose email communications to internal and external customers in a clear and professional manner, providing necessary updates and information for follow-up.

  • Adapt to changing duties, priorities, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Requirements

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • 2+ years of directly applicable experience required (such as Correspondence, Patient Billing Customer Service, or Healthcare Billing).

  • Labcorp current Healthcare Billing Specialist experience strongly preferred.
  • ,
  • Prefer previous medical billing or accounts receivables experience.
