$16+/hr (varies by location), 8am-5pm (hours may vary)

Requirements of position

The JobSquad is seeking Customer Service Representatives to support our client in a fully remote role. We can only consider applicants who currently live in the state of New Jersey.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of professional work experience
  • 2+ years of proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and other MS Office programs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to focus on repetitive data tasks with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods while working on a computer
  • Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet workspace
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in business processing or back-office support
  • Prior customer service or sales experience
  • Strong computer and data-entry accuracy
  • Ability to multitask with strong organizational skills
  • Typing speed of 45–50 WPM
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Positive attitude and professionalism
  • Ability to work limited overtime as needed
Responsibilities of position

Responsibilities:
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls with commercial energy customers
  • Assist customers with billing, payments, and account questions
  • Review and process energy incentive applications
  • Support customers through phone, email, and online chat
  • Maintain detailed and accurate account documentation
  • Follow all compliance and confidentiality guidelines
  • Perform additional administrative and back-office duties as needed
