This position is in Cargill’s protein and salt business, where we provide wholesome, high-quality food products to a wide range of customers, from foodservice operators and grocery stores to manufacturers and exporters.

This position is in our Food Enterprise where we are committed to serving food manufacturers, food service customers, and retailers with a complete range of innovative ingredients and branded products. Our portfolio includes poultry, beef, egg, alternative protein, salt, oils, starches, sweeteners, cocoa and chocolate.

As an Electromechanic, you’ll be a key player in maintaining and improving the mechanical, electrical, and automated systems that power our facility. You’ll work hands-on with production equipment, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to a safe, efficient operation. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with their hands, and being part of a team that feeds communities across Canada.

Must be currently legal to work in Canada Must be 18 years or older P. in Electromechanics or Industrial Mechanics (or Quebec equivalent) Minimum 2 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting Ability to work at heights and flexible to work overtime, weekends, or holidays with notice Basic software knowledge for maintenance documentation

Perform preventive maintenance and respond to equipment issues to keep production on track Troubleshoot, repair, and optimize mechanical and electrical systems Support morning production startup and ensure equipment is ready to go Carry out fabrication, welding, and modification tasks as needed Participate in equipment upgrades and improvement projects Maintain a clean and organized workshop and plant environment Follow food safety and workplace safety standards

Certificate in equipment connection G. welding Familiarity with labeling (Bizerba) and packaging equipment (Omori, Ulma) Knowledge of HACCP and food industry standards Relocation assistance is not available.
