We are seeking an Executive Assistant to support Disney Branded Television, Freeform and ABC Social & Engagement Strategy executives. As an Assistant, you will be responsible for administrative and other supportive tasks to support the Social Media team. The ideal candidate for this role is proactive, organized, efficient, and able to stay up to date in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate would be detail oriented, enjoys collaboration, and is able to multitask and is passionate about entertainment and social media.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Handle all scheduling responsibilities in a proactive nature
  • Make travel arrangements and prepare itineraries
  • Prepare and manage expense reports plus book occasional travel
  • Coordinate meetings with 10+ attendees: prepare agendas, secure and plan space, facilitate and follow up as appropriate
  • Attend meetings, take notes and track action items
  • Update and monitor changes to marketing calendars
  • Serve as a liaison between various teams and groups
  • Manage distribution lists and contact/assignment sheets
  • Provide additional office support such as organizing documents, ordering supplies, and processing purchase orders and billing related items
  • Handle complex scheduling responsibilities, with exceptional attention to the details of calendar management in a fast-paced environment

Basic Qualifications:

  • 1+ years administrative experience in entertainment
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to pay close attention
  • Able to prioritize against busy schedules and ever changing calendars and work environment
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • A ‘can-do’ attitude, nothing is too large or too small and the ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Google Docs/Spreadsheets, Gmail and Zoom
  • Good energy and a calming presence under pressure
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to problem solve at all times

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years prior administrative experience in entertainment
  • Passion for pop culture and all things television
  • Past experience in social media/marketing at a major studio or streamer is a plus

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $53,300 to $71,300 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
