What you get to do: This position supports one or more of our shows, events, or costumed character products. Executes and maintains artistic and operational integrity of specified show, event, or costumed character product. Oversees the supervision of the assigned operations teams, including casts and crews. Executes and maintains assigned teams timecard and schedules using Scheduler and KRONOS programs. Works with project timelines and schedules to ensure park and departmental goals and objectives are obtained. Will be involved in running and maintaining rehearsal and operational processes, training, schedules, production books, and start-up meetings. Collaborates with Entertainment Theming, Operations, Production and Theatrical Services teams to achieve project goals and objectives including the rehearsal, install, and strike plans. Collaborates with department leadership in the execution and supervision of Entertainment processes to achieve park and department safety targets. Execute development, performance and evaluation of team members within assigned team, as well as administer developmental discussions for direct reports. Participates in other duties as assigned that support park and departmental goals and objectives. Partnering skills, break dancing, tumbling, tap, or other specialties are a plus. Event Performers - Bring our special and seasonal events to life such as Event Host, Culinary Performers and Santa's Helpers. Instrumentalists - Proficient in percussion, brass, woodwinds or guitar. All instrumentalists should have the ability to play varying styles ranging from pop/rock to Motown to gospel and must be able to memorize music for shows and perform with great stage presence. Scare Squad - Enthusiastic performers, who are passionate about Halloween, to add fun and scary excitement to our award-winning Howl-O-Scream events. Vocalists - Great energy and stage presence who can demonstrate technical proficiency in a variety of styles including pop, rock, musical theatre, classical, contemporary, and a cappella vocal styling. Capacity to hear/sing harmonies is a must. Sight reading skills are not required but are preferred. Vocalists perform in multiple high-energy shows per day to connect with our guests and create memories that last a lifetime. How should I prepare for my audition? You will be asked to learn a dance combination and participate in improve and athletic stamina exercises. Costumed character auditions are based primarily on movement, non-verbal communication, and physical coordination. Please arrive early enough to stretch and warm up before the audition begins. Please wear form fitting dance attire that allows a full range of movement and tennis or jazz shoes. Please do not wear jeans.
