This role is responsible for supplier performance, process improvements, and operational efficiency while representing corporate leadership in the field. Key areas of ownership include root cause<strong> </strong>analysis, KPI management, supplier relationships, and project execution.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Job Responsibilities</u></strong></p><ul><li>Oversee 3PL Sortation Center operations in Vernon, CA, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and performance.</li><li>Manage First, Middle, and Final Mile supplier operations, ensuring seamless execution and performance optimization.</li><li>Track and improve key metrics: On-Time Performance (OTP), Sortation Throughput, Dwell Time, and Cost per Unit.</li><li>Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and develop corrective action plans (CAPs) to drive operational improvements.</li><li>Lead daily/weekly business reviews (WBRs), providing insights and action plans to leadership.</li><li>Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, meeting weekly to drive accountability and performance.</li><li>Implement process improvements and new programs, focusing on efficiency, cost reduction, and scalability.</li><li>Represent corporate leadership onsite, ensuring alignment between strategic initiatives and operations.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Job Requirements</u></strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred.</li><li>5+ years in transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations.</li><li>Experience managing Sortation Centers (3PL) and supplier networks.</li><li>Strong analytical skills in KPI tracking, RCA, and performance management.</li><li>Expertise in supplier negotiations, process improvement (Lean, Six Sigma), and project management.</li><li>Proficiency in TMS, data analytics tools, and reporting dashboards.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Work Environment</u></strong></p><ul><li>Onsite role at 3PL Sortation Center</li><li>Weekly supplier meetings as per standard cadence.</li><li>May require evening, weekend, or on-call availability</li></ul><p></p>
