Job Details<br><br><strong>Description<br><br></strong><strong>Begin your Composites One Career Today!<br><br></strong><strong>Position Overview<br><br></strong>As a General Warehouse Team Member, you will be responsible for the accurate receipt, storage, shipment and production process of materials according to all established Company and regulatory policies and procedures.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Ensure accurate and timely receipt and shipping of all materials following FIFO and potential freight claim or back order procedures while supporting all freight and safety policies</li><li>Receive, unload and process inbound material and shipments; stock material, process customer returns and notify management of damaged shipments</li><li>Perform a variety of warehouse duties such as pull/assemble customer orders, check outbound orders for accuracy/completeness, inventory stock checks, restock and label vendor product; move, store and replenish material, and conduct daily cycle counts</li><li>Understand and comply with applicable DOT, EPA, OSHA and specific HS&E requirements</li><li>Maintain a safe, clean working environment</li><li>Accurately maintain shipping and receiving related information</li><li>Communicate potential stockouts, damaged material/packaging or labeling to appropriate staff in a timely manner</li><li>Partner with Drivers to ensure efficient loading and delivery of shipments<br><br></li></ul><strong>Expected Skills And Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Knowledge and understanding of FIFO, OSHA requirements, safety awareness and hazardous material shipping</li><li>High School Diploma, GED or equivalent</li><li>Ability to learn internal database and software systems; proficient with near-miss and MSDS, UPS, FedEx and dedicated Logistics system</li><li>Effectively communicate cross-functionally<br><br></li></ul><strong>Additional Preferred Skills And Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Associate's degree</li><li>Forklift certification<br><br></li></ul><strong>Physical Requirements For a General Warehouse Team Member<br><br></strong><ul><li>Moderate to heavy physical activity; ability to independently lift up to 75 pounds</li><li>Ability to walk and/or stand for entire length of shift; regularly required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, or crawl; may be required to sometimes sit, climb, or balance</li><li>Ability to reach, grasp, push and pull with hands and arms</li><li>Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus; hand-eye coordination<br><br></li></ul><strong>Discover a Fulfilling Career<br><br></strong>At Composites One, our Team Members are the cornerstone of our success.
