This role should typically be able to be handled during business hours. However, it does require a great deal of dedication and will require work before 8am or after 5pm, primarily to handle time sensitive communications and requests. This position involves substantial coordination of schedules and collating of input across a widely dispersed leadership group. The role provides support on interactions between business units and functions with external partners and vendors, and as such requires a great aptitude for solving problems and finding solutions.<br><br><strong>Job Location</strong><br><br>This is a remote role based in the Central or Eastern U.S. time zone(s)<br><br><strong>Job Responsibilities</strong><br><br><ul><li>Provides proactive, varied and confidential administrative support for the EVP and the Government Relations team</li><li>Manages EVP's and Government Relations calendar of events</li><li>Assists with site visits to company locations</li><li>Assists the Government Relations team members with preparing PowerPoint, and Prezi presentations</li><li>Book team travel (domestic and international)</li><li>Prepares and tracks monthly expense reports</li><li>Manages, segment and updates email lists</li><li>Orders and distributes gifts when applicable (snack boxes, food delivery, gift cards)</li><li>Secures restaurant and hotel reservations as needed</li><li>Keeps executive informed and follows up on all assignments in a timely, effective, and efficient manner</li><li>On and off-site meeting planning and support - including all logistics (catering, agenda, facilities, communications).</li><li>Miscellaneous ad-hoc reporting and projects</li><li>Interacts with high level executive and administrative assistants across the organization</li><li>Organizes and maintains online documents, files, and records</li></ul><br><br><strong>Job Requirements</strong><br><br><ul><li>Strong multi-tasking skills and proven ability to manage multiple projects and work well under time/other constraints</li><li>5 + years' experience working for a C-level executives organizing multiple priorities, calendars and projects</li><li>Exceptional organizational skills and ability to effectively prioritize tasks and projects</li><li>Ability to handle confidential information, demonstrate a high degree of autonomy and good judgment</li><li>Ability to be proactive and think strategically</li><li>Focuses on quality in everything they do</li><li>Works well under stress, can handle challenging situations and is flexible and able to switch gears comfortably</li><li>Effective communication skills, written and verbal, one-on-one, as well as with small and medium size groups</li><li>Must be able to receive feedback and handle constructive criticism</li><li>Demonstrated experience in dealing effectively with all levels within an organization</li><li>Customer focused - internal and external</li><li>Takes initiative, demonstrates creative thinking in their problem solving, and is solution oriented and enjoys challenges</li><li>Possesses a strong business sense and has an understanding of a large corporate structure, experience with a publicly held 10,000+ employees preferred</li><li>Embodies high ethical standards and core values</li><li>Maintains and projects a positive attitude</li><li>Internationally and multi-culturally aware and sensitive</li><li>Proficient in Concur and MS Office Suite - Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, OneNote</li><li>May require up to 10% travel</li></ul><br><br><strong>Compensation</strong><br><br>Base salary will range between $110-125k + bonus<br><br><strong>What CRH Offers You</strong><br><br><ul><li>Highly competitive base pay</li><li>Comprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programs</li><li>Group retirement savings program</li><li>Health and wellness programs</li><li>An inclusive culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotion </li></ul><br><br><strong>About CRH</strong><br><br>CRH has a long and proud heritage.
