About the role

As a Healthcare Claims Test Manager, you will make an impact by leading the end‑to‑end testing strategy and execution for claims processing as part of healthcare Proof of Concept (POC). You will be a valued member of the delivery team, working collaboratively with claims, system integration, and technical stakeholders to ensure test coverage, quality outcomes, and reliable validation of claims scenarios.

In this role, you will:

  • Define and implement the overall testing strategy for healthcare claims processing within the POC
  • Lead and coordinate testing activities across cross‑functional teams, including claims, SI, and technical partners
  • Ensure adequate test coverage for key claims processing and adjudication scenarios
  • Manage defect tracking, prioritization, and reporting throughout the testing lifecycle
  • Provide clear and consistent testing status updates to project leadership and stakeholders
  • Support validation of claims outcomes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and business alignment

What you need to have to be considered

  • Experience leading testing efforts within healthcare IT environments
  • Strong understanding of healthcare claims processing and claims validation
  • Proven ability to define testing strategies and manage execution across teams
  • Experience with defect management, tracking, and reporting processes

These will help you stand out

  • Prior experience supporting healthcare system integrations or Proofs of Concept (POCs)
  • Familiarity with claims adjudication workflows and end‑to‑end claims lifecycles
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working in fast‑paced, cross‑functional delivery environments

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applicants will be accepted till 7/15/2026

The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $113K-$132K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
