BrightStar Care of Carlsbad is seeking experienced and compassionate Infusion Registered Nurses (RNs) for ongoing in-home infusion cases and skilled nursing visits throughout North County San Diego, including Oceanside, Carlsbad, Vista, Fallbrook, and surrounding areas.

We are looking for nurses experienced in providing high-quality, one-on-one patient care in the home setting, including infusion therapy, IV starts, lab draws, port access, CVAD care, wound care, and skilled nursing services for both pediatric and adult patients.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Providing 1:1 nursing care in patients’ homes on a per diem basis
  • Administering IV infusion therapies for adult and pediatric patients
  • Performing IV starts, port access, lab draws, and skilled nursing visits
  • Assessing and monitoring patients before, during, and after treatments
  • Educating patients and families on medications, treatments, and care plans
  • Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Collaborating with physicians, pharmacists, and the BrightStar Care clinical team
  • Following all infection control, safety, and compliance standards

Ideal Candidates Have
  • Current, unrestricted California RN license
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferred
  • Home infusion, IV therapy, ICU, ER, oncology, home health, hospice, or pediatric experience strongly preferred
  • Strong IV, venous access, and clinical assessment skills
  • Experience with ports and central venous access devices (CVADs) preferred
  • Experience with wound care, phlebotomy, and skilled nursing visits a plus
  • Current BLS certification
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Reliable transportation, current auto insurance, and willingness to travel throughout North County San Diego
