The dual Technician-Sales Representative will diagnose, repair and perform preventive maintenance on commercial HVAC equipment as well as develop and maintain customer relationships in order to sell preventative maintenance contracts, service and repair work on HVAC products, retrofit/upgrades and major projects. <em>Come be a part of an exciting journey at Daikin Applied, where innovation and excellence drive our</em> <em>every endeavor!<br><br></em><strong>Location:</strong> Washington DC., / Bowie, MD<br><br><strong>What You Will Do<br><br></strong><ul><li>Perform Maintenance, warranty, Rebuilds/Retrofits, start-ups and service of CAT I, II, & III equipment. Independently inspect and test systems to ensure installation and functionality are intact. </li><li>Perform Start Ups: Verify functionality of new CAT I, II & III equipment. Educate customers on proper use of equipment, maintenance schedule, and operating manual. </li><li>Wear personal protective equipment when completing service tasks. Complete jobsite hazard assessment prior to initiating service. Adhere to Daikin Applied and customer safety policies and OSHA guidelines.</li><li>Record and report billing, inventory, timecards, technician tip reports, product quality reports (PQR), and articles as required.</li><li>Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from Daikin Applied installed equipment database, industry sources, business directories, vertical market information or any other lead generation source.</li><li>Prepare cost estimates and price quotations on new work and coordinates the preparation of cost estimates on project continuations.
