As a Inside Sales supporting our Public Sector and Government customers you are responsible for managing and growing existing business relationships with key clients within a designated territory, primarily through phone and virtual interactions, by understanding their needs, proactively presenting Verizon's suite of wireless, mobility, cloud, and security solutions, and closing deals to achieve sales targets while maintaining strong customer loyalty and satisfaction; requiring a deep understanding of Verizon's product portfolio, proven sales expertise, and the ability to build strong relationships with decision-makers within client government organizations.

What we're looking for...

  • As a Inside Sales skills - actively managing a portfolio of assigned business government accounts, identifying potential growth opportunities, and driving incremental revenue through upselling and cross-selling Verizon products and services.

  • Customer Relationship Building Skills - Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key decision makers C-suite level engagement through regular communication and proactive

  • Negotiation Skills - Negotiate contracts and pricing with customers to close deals and achieve sales targets

  • Solution Selling Skills - Effectively present and position complex Verizon business solutions, including cloud, security, and IoT offerings, to meet customer requirements.

  • Reporting and Analysis Skills - Track and report sales activity, pipeline progress, and key performance indicators (KPIs) using CRM tools.

  • Lead Generation Experience - Proactively prospect for new business opportunities within existing accounts through consultative selling techniques.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Three or more years of relevant experience are required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Previous outside/inside sales experience selling to Public Sector customers

  • Contract negotiation experience

  • Strong understanding of business needs and ability to articulate how Verizon solutions can address them

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical clients

  • Proficient in CRM systems and sales automation tools

  • Strong negotiation and closing skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and results-oriented approach
