Role Description

This is a full-time, hybrid role (work-from-home and on-site) for a Legal Assistant/Paralegal in Chandler, AZ.

The Legal

Assistant/Paralegal will provide crucial support for attorneys by preparing legal documents, reviewing documents, and communicating with clients and other parties. The role requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure timely and accurate handling of legal cases. The right candidate will play a key role in managing information, scheduling, and maintaining documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Calendar management for both partners, including client meetings, depositions, hearings, and internal deadlines
  • Docketing and deadline management across business and litigation matters, including court-imposed deadlines, statutes of limitations, and other deadlines
  • E-filing and conventional filing in Arizona state courts and federal court (District of Arizona)
  • Drafting and proofreading correspondence, engagement letters, demand letters, discovery, and other legal documents
  • Client intake support and pre-client pipeline tracking
  • Document organization and management in OneDrive
  • Other operational and administrative tasks as the firm grows
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of law and legal processes
  • Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation and Document Review
  • Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal, for liaising with clients and stakeholders
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and time management
  • Prior experience in a law firm, particularly in litigation
  • Experience with Claude AI or other AI tools, is a plus
