About the position

Responsibilities

  • Manage Home Medical Equipment (HME) inventory within the region to meet Cost of Goods budget.
  • Ensure HME inventory ordering and processing procedures are followed and maintained in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Manage logistics team providing daily direction and communication to employees for timely and efficient order routing.
  • Oversee all company vehicles, including preventative maintenance, compliance, repair, and outfitting new vehicles.
  • Ensure cost-effectiveness and delivery timeliness through selected methods of delivery management.
  • Manage delivery resources to provide goods and services in a cost-effective manner while communicating with department leaders.
  • Ensure all paperwork related to providing goods and services is compliant with governmental and organizational processes.
  • Train and ensure competency of all drivers in accordance with relevant processes and procedures.
  • Maintain and document all fleet vehicles within the organization's processes and procedures.
  • Create and analyze data reports to drive efficiencies and improve patient experience.
  • Select and hire qualified staff, ensuring effective onboarding and training.
  • Communicate job expectations and provide regular feedback to staff.
  • Establish annual goals and objectives for the department based on strategic goals.
  • Achieve organizational performance and retention goals, including timely completion of performance evaluations.

Requirements

  • Two years Associates Degree from an accredited college or four (4) years of HME experience equivalent to an associate degree.
  • Two (2) years of work-related experience in HME warehouse or management in any industry, with a focus on healthcare or HME.
