As an MBA Intern at Rapsodo, you will contribute to strategic decision-making by providing comprehensive market research, conducting thorough analysis, and identifying potential business opportunities. Working closely with the CEO and CFO, you will assist in developing presentations, formulating business plans, and executing key projects. This internship is designed to challenge and enhance your business acumen, analytical skills, and leadership abilities, providing you with a solid foundation for a successful career in the sports analytics industry.

Responsibilities

  • Market Research: Conduct extensive market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, evaluate competitors, understand customer preferences, and uncover potential target markets. Utilize a wide range of sources, including industry reports, databases, and primary research, to gather and synthesize relevant information.
  • Business Analysis: Analyze financial data, operational metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess Rapsodo's performance and identify areas for improvement. Develop actionable insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Project Management: Support the CEO and CFO in managing and executing strategic projects by conducting thorough research, gathering data, and creating well-defined project plans. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones and objectives are met.
  • Business Development: Explore and evaluate potential business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and untapped markets. Conduct comprehensive feasibility studies and prepare persuasive business cases to support investment decisions and growth initiatives.
  • Presentation and Reporting: Prepare and deliver professional, concise, and visually engaging presentations to senior management, stakeholders, and potential partners. Summarize complex data and analysis into clear, actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Business Planning: Assist in the development of robust business plans, financial models, and forecasts. Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to evaluate the impact of various factors on business performance.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and best practices in sports analytics and business analysis.
  • Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed an MBA degree from a reputable university or business school.
  • Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data, perform rigorous financial analysis, and generate valuable insights.
  • Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to think strategically and provide valuable input to business decisions. Strong understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscape, and industry trends in the sports analytics domain.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create compelling presentations and reports. Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and deliver results within established deadlines. Meticulous attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills.
