Position Description:

Performs assigned patient care duties under the direction of a licensed provider. Responsible for performing clinical duties such as:

-Interacting with Patients on a daily basis

-Obtaining Patient's Medical History

-Obtaining Patient Vitals

-Performing X-rays

-Checking vitals

-Assisting with In Office Surgical Procedures

-Applying Post Op and Compression Dressings

-Wound Care

-Dispensing Durable Medical Equipment

-Collecting Specimens for Biopsy/Culture

-Castings

-Sanitizing Patient Rooms

-Restocking Patient Rooms

Requirements:

  • Certified MA, RMA or LPN preferred
  • Proven working experience as a medical assistant
  • Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
