We’re currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic <strong>National Business Manager</strong> to join our growing team. This role will be remotely based in <strong>Northwest Arkansas.<br><br></strong><strong>What You Will Do<br><br></strong>The National Business Manager will be responsible for sales specific activities supporting Walmart, driving volume and financial results while working under the direction of the Sr. National Business Manager. This role develops personal relationships with customers and effectively manages key business processes to build credibility and deliver mutually beneficial results. This role will work cross functionally with the Sales Team, Customer Marketing, E-Commerce, and Brand Teams. Additional responsibilities include:<br><br><ul><li> Manage item creation, covering both Brick and Mortar and E-Commerce items.</li><li> Drive channel defined DSMP (Distribution, Shelving, Merchandising, and Pricing) initiatives to achieve area sales objectives within the assigned geography.</li><li> Manage associated business systems to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategy implementation.</li><li> Conduct customer planning to ensure alignment with channel direction.</li><li> Communicate with Area Sales Manager to inform of dynamics and potential sales opportunities within the assigned geography.</li><li> Manage interactions with customers to identify cross, up, and repeat sales opportunities.</li><li> Resolve problems with key customers to ensure they receive the highest quality customer service.<br><br></li></ul><strong>What We Need From You<br><br></strong><ul><li> 2-5 years of Walmart experience in a sales, category, or relevant capacity.</li><li> Bachelor’s degree required.</li><li> Scintilla / Madrid 2.0 experience preferred.</li><li> Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)</li><li> E-Commerce experience a plus.</li><li> Proven success working independently.</li><li> Fundamental sales understanding.</li><li> Strong relationship development and interpersonal skills.</li><li> Excellent organization, administrative and verbal skills.</li><li> Ability to provide excellent customer service at all levels to ensure PVM is a preferred partner to accounts.</li><li> Knowledge of product development and performance to define and plan optimal category mix in a variety of customer environments.</li><li> Effective communication skills to deliver the right information to the right people and engage all kinds of audiences.</li><li> Ability to translate market insights into successful value propositions that meet the future needs of customers and build the brand foundation while remaining in line with business strategy.</li><li> Ability to be flexible and adapt to commercial changes in needs and market trends.<br><br></li></ul><strong>What We Offer<br><br></strong>At Perfetti Van Melle, we are committed to fostering a welcoming workplace, where all individuals, regardless of background or identity, are valued, respected, and empowered to contribute their unique perspectives to the sweet success of our candy-loving community.
