Outside Sales Representative; Central U.S. Location : Will work from an home office within the territory: CO, AZ, NM, OK, West TX, IA, KS, MO Compensation : The compensation will be consist of base salary commensurate with experience + Commission  Opportunity Summary : We are excited to be partnering with a global leader in the wire and cable industry that’s looking to add an Outside Sales Representative focused on the Motor Repair market across the Central U.S. (CO, AZ, NM, OK, West TX, IA, KS, MO). This is a home-based role with ~50% travel within the territory to sell high-quality, trusted products backed by a strong leadership team and customer-first culture. Job Duties : Manage a significant customer base in an established sales territory. Strategic account management includes cultivating relationships in multifaceted vertical organizations and devising tailored growth plans. Business Development. New business prospecting. Assess and develop future market and account opportunities. Execute sales plans outlined by the Division, Sales, and Marketing Teams. Resolve complex issues within the sales territory. Effectively market and promote Company's magnet wire and extensive complementary product lines, including electrical motors and motor repair parts. Coordinate internal and external resources to serve customers and prospects. Joint selling with key suppliers to bring value-based solutions. Well-planned sales visits with customers and prospects with prepared agendas and actionable follow-up items. Working knowledge of the industrial distribution business model Technical knowledge regarding electrical products and their applications Requirements : 3-5 years of related work in industrial sales BS or BA in Business Administration, Sales, or related field OR equivalent experience 50% Overnight Travel Experience selling electrical motors, electrical motor repair parts, magnet wire, electrical insulation, or complementary products preferred. Technical knowledge regarding electrical products and their applications. Knowledge of the Transformer market would be a plus.
