Parsons is now hiring a Senior Project Control Engineer for our Federal Business Unit and Environmental project portfolio.<br><br>Parsons extensive experience in this field combined with your advanced project and cost knowledge, will propel your career forward with the opportunity to be a part of our Project <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">Controls team. </span> We need our Project Control Engineers at this level to be fully qualified professionals with solid experience, enthusiastic to work in highly flexible, team oriented environment and who have exceptional communication, analytical and leadership skills.   In this role you will develop, implement, and maintain cost control, budgets and forecasts for multiple projects.  You will be utilizing your technical expertise, and familiarity with company policies and procedures to complete complicated tasks independently.   <br><br><span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">Responsibilities:  </span><br><br>Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.  </p><ul><li>Prepare reports from Costpoint, CER system, Project Controls dashboard or CFT</li><li>Update of percent complete information into Parsons’ systems including Costpoint</li><li>Update of forecasts into Parsons’ systems including Costpoint</li><li>Review and coordination of procurement requisitions, to include cost coding and approval for project controls</li><li>Prepare independent analysis for projects and/or programs</li><li>Monthly support and review of costs, earned value</li><li>Provide guidance, direction, and specialized assistance for the resolution of coding, time card issues or other project controls-related items.</li></ul><p></p><p>Other responsibilities may likely include:</p><ul><li>Assisting the PCM or Project Controls team with specialized reports</li><li>Generating reports as requested from project team members</li><li>Assist PMs with job and/or program funding questions or reports</li><li>Preparation of presentations which may include charts and/or graphs to illustrate project status</li><li>Assistance with internal and external audit data and reports</li><li>Review and tracking against yearly business plans.</li></ul><p></p><p>Qualifications:<br>Bachelor's Degree <span>in Finance or Accounting</span> or related field (or equivalent experience) and typically 10+ years of related work experience.<br><span>Experience with cost-reimbursable contracts is strongly preferred.</span></p><p>Proficient PC skills including proficiency in various Project Controls software and Microsoft Office Suite.</p><p>Solid understanding of WBS and job costing</p><p>Experience with budget forecasting and tracking program/project budgets preferred</p><p>Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple items simultaneously</p><ul><li>Must have excellent teamwork and customer (internal and external) relationship skills.</li></ul><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><u><b>Security Clearance Requirement:</b></u></p>None<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p>This position is part of our Corporate team.<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p>For over 80 years, Parsons Corporation, has shaped the future of the defense, intelligence, and critical infrastructure markets.
