<p><strong>Work Location</strong>: Santa Clara, CA</p><p><strong>Work Schedule</strong>: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day</p><p><strong>Engagement Model</strong>: Fixed-term employment; Full-time</p><p><strong>Estimated Project Duration</strong>: 5 months</p><p><strong>Estimated Start Date</strong>: February 23, 2026</p><p><strong>Language(s) Needed</strong>: English (US)</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Role Summary</strong></p><p>The Moderator will work directly with onsite participants to ensure the proper execution of study/project requirements. The primary responsibility is to moderate user sessions and provide updates to the other members of the production team, as well as performing basic troubleshooting of data collection technology. These sessions will involve participants having various discussion while being video recorded.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Role Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Operate and maintain data collection equipment, offload data, manage logistics, provide daily reports, and lead the overall high-quality data generation for this effort, day in, day out</li><li>Understand provided project documentation to assist participants</li><li>Interact with participants and lead them through data collection projects</li><li>Capture data for the assigned project, aiming to reach the targeted daily goal</li><li>Utilize client tools to label/tag data</li><li>Convey sessions details to the Project Manager and Production team</li><li>Communicate and coordinate with project team</li><li>Interact with various hardware & software</li><li>Assist in preparing session materials and setting up facility</li><li>Monitor and manage participant flow within the site</li><li>Address participant questions and concerns in a professional manner</li><li>Provide feedback on session dynamics and participant engagement</li><li>Ability to lift up 45-50lbs when needed</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Role Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Experience in moderation, facilitation, proctoring or similar roles preferred</li><li>Possess technical knowledge and hands-on experience using iOS, troubleshooting hardware issues, working with command-line tools, and demonstrating strong overall technical proficiency.</li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills</li><li>Ability to manage groups and foster a positive environment</li><li>Detail-oriented with a knack for problem-solving</li><li>Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing scenarios</li><li>High attention to detail</li><li>Customer Service/Sales oriented</li><li>Goal driven and objective mindset</li><li>Integrity and strong work ethic</li><li>Report creation, monitoring and updating</li><li>Team player</li><li>Knowledge of research methodologies and ethical considerations is a plus</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, communications, or related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted</li></ul><p><br></p><p><em>DataForce by TransPerfect is part of the TransPerfect family of companies, the world’s largest provider of language and technology solutions for global business, with offices in more than 100 cities worldwide.</em></p><p><br></p><p><em>We offer high-quality data for Human-Machine Interaction to some of the most prestigious technology companies in the world.
