📋 Description • Be the face of Gap at Erskine Village, where every interaction you have turns curious shoppers into lifelong brand fans. You’ll greet guests within seconds of arrival, read their style needs in real time, and guide them through the store with genuine warmth and expert product knowledge. • Master our full assortment—denim fits, fabric technologies, seasonal color stories, and size-inclusive options—so you can confidently recommend the perfect outfit for a first interview, family photo, or weekend getaway. You’ll translate technical features into easy-to-understand benefits that resonate with each individual customer. • Drive sales by leveraging Gap’s signature selling behaviors: connect, inspire, and close. You’ll use open-ended questions to uncover lifestyle needs, pull together complete looks on the fly, and overcome objections with empathy and style authority, all while hitting daily KPIs and loyalty targets. • Own the omni-channel experience. When a size is missing on the floor, you’ll seamlessly locate it online, place a ship-from-store order, and follow up to ensure the customer receives it faster than expected. You’ll also promote BOPIS, curbside pickup, and our app-exclusive offers to remove friction and boost basket size. • Keep the sales floor visually irresistible. You’ll maintain brand-standard merchandising: size runs faced out, mannequins freshly styled, signage current, and lighting flawless. When product sells down, you’ll restock quickly from the back of house, ensuring every customer finds what they came for. • Champion our loyalty ecosystem. You’ll educate every shopper on Gap Good Rewards, credit-card benefits, and birthday perks, tailoring the message to their shopping habits. Your authentic enthusiasm will grow our member base and deepen emotional connection to the brand. • Provide fitting-room magic. You’ll check in at just the right moment, bring alternative sizes and styles, and offer honest feedback that builds trust. When a customer steps out feeling amazing, you’ll celebrate the moment and suggest accessories to complete the look. • Execute operational excellence with precision. You’ll process shipments, sensor merchandise, and maintain back-of-house organization so the floor is always ready. You’ll also handle POS transactions swiftly and accurately, balancing drawers and safeguarding assets. • Be a collaborative teammate. You’ll share customer insights in daily huddles, cross-train in all zones (men’s, women’s, kids, baby), and jump in wherever the business demands—whether that’s running a markdown rack, covering a break, or helping open the store on launch day. • Live our values of equality, inclusivity, and sustainability. You’ll celebrate every body in our size range, use gender-neutral language, and proudly share our Washwell water-saving denim initiative. Your actions will reinforce Gap’s commitment to making the world bolder and brighter. 🎯 Requirements • Proven ability to engage customers and deliver sales results in a fast-paced retail environment • Comfortable learning and using retail technology (POS, mobile devices, inventory apps) • Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays • Physical capability to lift up to 30 lbs, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods • Strong verbal communication skills and a genuine passion for style and service 🏖️ Benefits • Merchandise discount of 50% off regular-priced Gap, Banana Republic, Old Navy, and Athleta items • Competitive hourly wage plus opportunity for monthly sales bonuses • Comprehensive training program and clear career path to leadership roles • Access to mental-health resources, employee assistance programs, and paid volunteer time
