This role blends strategic sales expertise with a genuine passion for dance and community engagement. The ideal candidate thrives on connection, creativity, and purpose — turning opportunities into lasting partnerships that uplift and inspire. </p><p><strong>Essential Duties & Responsibilities </strong></p><ul><li><p>Develop and execute sales strategies that align with DanceOne’s goals for growth and brand impact. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Build, manage, and nurture relationships with studio owners, educators, and partners to expand participation. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Identify and develop new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets within the dance and performing arts industries. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Represent DanceOne at conventions, events, and trade shows — promoting programs and engaging directly with the community. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Collaborate with marketing, operations, and events teams to ensure a consistent, high-quality experience for clients and participants. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Maintain and track a healthy sales pipeline, report on performance metrics, and forecast future growth opportunities. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Provide valuable field insights to inform programming, messaging, and partnership initiatives. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Support client retention and loyalty through personalized communication and follow-up. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Embody and promote DanceOne’s core values — integrity, passion, creativity, and community — in every interaction. </p></li></ul><p><strong>Skills & Competencies </strong></p><ul><li><p>Proven success in sales, business development, or account management, preferably within the performing arts, events, education industries or medical sales. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Strong relationship-building and interpersonal communication skills. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Strategic thinker with excellent organizational and analytical abilities. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Confident and engaging public speaker, comfortable representing the brand at live events. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Team player with a collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Proficiency with CRM systems, sales tracking, and Google or Microsoft Office Suite tools. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Deep appreciation for dance, the arts, and community development. </p></li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications & Experience </strong></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience). </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>3–5 years of experience in sales, partnership development, or account management. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Experience in the dance, performing arts, or event industry strongly preferred. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Travel required to conventions, events, and studio visits.
