Position Overview

We’re seeking a dynamic, social media-savvy Sales & Social Media Specialist to join our team! This is a perfect opportunity for a motivated individual who thrives in a creative environment and wants to make a real impact on a growing business.

What You’ll Do

Sales & Business Development:

    •     Identify and pursue local B2B opportunities with restaurants, cafes, and retail businesses

    •     Develop and maintain relationships with commercial clients

    •     Drive direct-to-consumer sales through various online platforms

    •     Meet and exceed sales targets while providing exceptional customer service

Content Creation & Social Media:

    •     Conduct professional product photography sessions for cutting boards and furniture

    •     Create compelling product listings across multiple e-commerce platforms

    •     Develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand awareness

    •     Manage online presence and engage with customers across digital channels

Hybrid Work Environment:

    •     Work flexibly from home for administrative tasks, social media management, and client outreach

    •     On-site work required for product photography, inventory management, and local client meetings

    •     Collaborate with our team to ensure seamless operations

What We’re Looking For

Essential Qualifications:

    •     Strong familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok)

    •     Experience with product photography or strong willingness to learn

    •     Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    •     Self-motivated with ability to work independently in a hybrid environment

    •     Basic understanding of e-commerce platforms and online sales

    •     Local to Chicago area or willing to commute for on-site requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

    •     Previous sales experience, especially B2B

    •     Photography skills or experience with photo editing software

    •     Knowledge of woodworking, furniture, or home goods industry

    •     Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar tools

    •     Familiarity with inventory management systems
