role you will support the following initiatives:</p> <p><strong>Product Discovery & Problem Definition</strong></p> <ul> <li>Partner with leadership, sales and marketing, client services, and model development teams to shape product direction and priorities</li> <li>Identify high-value opportunities through customer input, competitive research, data analysis, and internal feedback</li> <li>Work seamlessly with senior management to set OKRs and clear direction</li> <li>Continuously validate assumptions through lightweight discovery (internal interviews, prototypes, data exploration)</li> <li>Gain a deep understanding of our competitive landscape, users, and markets (health plans, providers, internal stakeholders)</li> </ul> <p><strong>Product Development & Delivery</strong></p> <ul> <li>Define, articulate and maintain the product roadmap</li> <li>Manage the product backlog and sprints</li> <li>Translate product opportunities / OKRs into clear, actionable work for MARA’s product team to execute</li> <li>Partner closely with model development (R&D and data scientists) and engineers to shape solutions (not just hand off requirements)</li> <li>Prioritize work based on value, impact, feasibility, and strategic alignment</li> <li>Drive high-quality product decisions through collaboration, not top-down direction</li> <li>Remove impediments by being the go-to source for Government healthcare programs, not-for-profits, mutuals, for-profit health plans, and healthcare providers rely on MARA models to evaluate risk for financial and medical management applications.</p> <p>The Milliman Advanced Risk Adjusters team is a group of risk adjustment product experts, healthcare actuaries and analysts, data scientists, and software developers dedicated to developing top-performing risk assessment models and easy-to-use software.
