<img class="fr-fic fr-dib" src="https://secure.neogov.com/images/AgencyImages/jobposting/761/jobpostings/image/1620330368818.jpeg" style="width: 582.0px;"><div style="text-align: center;"><strong>SHERIFF'S RECORDS SUPERVISOR</strong></div><br><div style="text-align: center;">In addition to performance-based merit increases, this position is scheduled to receive salary range increases on the following dates: <br> <br>Effective June 28, 2024 – 4.25% increase<br>Effective June 27, 2025 – 4.00% increase<br>  <strong><br>Only Sheriff's Department employees who possess the minimum qualifications will be considered.<br> <br>Applications will be accepted online on a continuous basis until the needs of the department are met.</strong></div><br><strong>RECRUITMENT/POSITION INFORMATION</strong><br>This recruitment is being held to establish a Departmental Promotional Eligible List to fill vacancies at the Orange County Sheriff's Department. The eligible list established may also be used to fill positions in similar and/or lower classifications.<br> <br><strong>General Duties:</strong><br>Sheriff's Records Supervisor supervises Sheriff's Records staff in a correctional facility setting. Each Supervisor is expected to enforce the policies and procedures of the Sheriff's Department and Inmate Records. The supervisor is responsible for verifying and approving all "Bookings" and "Releases" that are processed by the Jail staff. <strong>This position has a shift rotation every six months.</strong><br> <br> <br><strong>DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS</strong><br>The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and understanding of Jail Policies, procedures and operations.<br><br><strong>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS</strong><br> <br><strong>Education/Experience:</strong><br>    <ul type="disc"><li>Two years of general office experience. Regularly uses standard commercial equipment and material including but not limited to computer hardware, software and modems. Must be able to withstand pressure involved in meeting deadlines and multitask different priorities and activities.<br> <br><strong>SELECTION PROCEDURE</strong><br>The Sheriff Human Resources Department screens all applications to identify the qualified candidates. After screening, the qualified candidates will be referred to the next step.<br> <br><strong>STRUCTURED ORAL PANEL INTERVIEW (Weighted 100%)</strong><br>Candidate's will be interviewed and rated by a qualifications appraisal panel of job knowledge experts. Each candidate's rating will be based on responses to a series of structured questions designed to elicit the candidate's qualifications for the job. Only the most successful candidates will be placed on the eligible list.<div style="text-align: center;"><br></div><div style="text-align: center;"><strong style="color: inherit;font-style: normal;text-align: left;text-indent: 0.0px;"><em>Based on the Department's needs, the selection procedures listed above may be modified.
