Description

Ready to put your love of likes, follows, subscribers, comments, and community management to the test? As a social media intern, you’ll get hands-on experience managing the social accounts of real-world businesses.

What you'll be doing:

  • Work with the social media team to create and execute social media strategies and plans
  • Take and edit photos for agency or client content
  • Use Adobe suite or online tools to edit and modify images for social content
  • Monitor changes in social media platforms and communicate them with social media teammates
  • Meet timelines for regular and assigned deliverables, communicate things that might disrupt that timeline
  • Write creative content that aligns with audience interests and develop documents with drafted content for client review.
  • Learn best practices for creating press releases
  • Complete other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


Requirements

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Comfortable in social media platforms
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Aptitude in the Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
  • Knowledge of AP Style a plus
