DESCRIPTION

The Fuse team is seeking an experienced Program Manager is responsible for end to end operational management of retail categories in various Amazon international marketplaces. In this role you will work across multiple Amazon product, engineering, business, operations and marketing teams. This role has high visibility as you will be responsible for The job includes, but is not limited to creating annual plans and strategy for execution, ensuring operational rigor and designing high business impact processes. The individual will be the strategic point of contact to the retail teams of Amazon worldwide and must therefore be comfortable and confident liaising with remote teams and senior leaders.

The individual will manage business impact via functional activities and will be accountable for designing and delivering on all KPIs of the same. The individual will interface and drive agenda with the automation & technology teams to build scalable solutions. The role involves influencing peers and stakeholders in other functions to achieve the operational and business goals assigned.

The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous and demanding work environment is critical to success in this role. Excellent communication and organizational skills are required along with the ability to anticipate, identify, and communicate risks to business, operations and leadership teams. Successful candidates for this position must have a proven record of delivering results through strong program management skills, creative problem solving skills and a passion for customer experience.

Key job responsibilities
  • Develop and own playbooks to expand Fuse business across global marketplaces, including international expansion and bespoke regional requirements
  • Work with external customers and coordinate launches with retail and partner teams.
  • Owns communications and mechanisms with Amazon internal/ teams regarding variety of operational processes (Stores Teams, Tax, etc.)
  • Anticipate, identify, and communicate risks to accounting, finance, business and tech leadership, including project plans and recurring business review documents
  • Track and publish project status reports and communicate status updates with leadership teams
  • Work with engineering, product and operations teams to build solutions and align with the business objectives

We focus on business growth and value creation for customers, reaching customers worldwide through programmatic and unique marketing campaigns with partners.

Amazon Fuse partners with third party mobile providers to sell Amazon subscription services, such as Prime Video, Music and Kindle as apart of those mobile provider deals. Our business development team sources the third party providers to partner with and handles the business side of things. Fuse is available in over 50 countries and has about 4 billion subscribers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience
  • Experience in program or project management
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
  • Experience defining and executing program requirements
  • Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
