Internship Opportunity

We are seeking highly motivated and dedicated students to participate in our Student Intern Program. This program provides valuable work experience and professional development opportunities for students.

Job Description

The Student Intern classification is a County-wide classification with duties defined by the internship level and the various departments to which the students are assigned. Students can advance in both level and pay based on education and operational needs.

Typical Tasks

  • Assist professionals in ongoing project work in an increasingly responsible role.
  • Evaluate information gained in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Participate in team analysis of problems and preparation of reports under supervision.

Requirements

  • Have a legal right to work in the United States.
  • Be enrolled in an accredited institution or a school licensed by a state agency or have graduated from such an institution or school within the last six months.
  • Have an overall grade point average of at least 2.5 on a four-point scale.
  • Submit a completed application for employment, unofficial transcript, and proof of enrollment or course schedule for the current school session.

Eligibility

  • Junior or Senior year college students, or Degree-holder students working on their secondary degree or professional certification.

Please note that applications are reviewed on an as-needed basis and it may take up to six months for the application to be considered inactive. If additional information is required or your application is accepted into the program, you will receive an email.
