This role ensures contract terms align with organizational strategy, support patient access, and maintain compliance with regulatory and payor requirements. The supervisor maintains accurate contract records, monitors performance, and serves as the primary resource for contract-related inquiries. Additionally, this position provides guidance to staff, collaborates with reimbursement, finance, and legal teams, and drives process improvements to enhance contracting efficiency and accuracy.</p><p></p><p><b><i>Key Responsibilities</i></b></p><ul><li>Execute and coordinate payor contract negotiations, renewals, and amendments in alignment with organizational strategy.</li><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of contract terms, fee schedules, and performance metrics.</li><li>Monitor contract compliance and reimbursement performance, proactively identifying discrepancies and escalating payor issues to minimize revenue risk and operational disruption.</li><li>Analyse contract performance data to provide actionable insights that support business objectives and inform future contract strategy.</li><li>Serve as subject matter expert for contract terms, reimbursement methodologies, and payor requirements, providing guidance to internal stakeholders.</li><li>Collaborate with reimbursement, finance, and legal teams to ensure contract activities align with organizational goals and compliance standards.</li><li>Lead, mentor, and develop team members by establishing best practices, improving operational consistency, and fostering professional growth.</li><li>Drive process improvements to enhance contracting efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. <br> </li></ul><p><b><i>Key Requirements </i></b></p><p>To add value to Cochlear in this role you'll be able to meet and demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and abilities in your application and at interview:</p><p></p><p>Minimum Qualifications</p><ul><li>Experience in payor contracting, managed care, or insurance services, including contract negotiation and administration.</li><li>Experience leading or mentoring staff.</li><li>Strong analytical and communication skills.</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.</li></ul><p></p><p>Preferred Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field (may be substituted with additional relevant experience).</li><li>Relevant certifications (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality).</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Total Rewards</b></p><p>In addition to the opportunity to develop your knowledge and grow professionally, we offer competitive wages and benefits.</p><ul><li>Pay Range in the United States: $103,000 - $113,00 based upon experience, as well as an annual bonus opportunity of 7.5% of base salary.
