Our culture encourages creativity, welcomes fresh thinking, and focuses on growth, so our people, our business, and our customers can achieve their full potential.<br><br><strong>Summary Of The Role<br><br></strong>Technical Account Managers in the Pharma team are industry experts who understand (i) the digitalization challenges of the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industry across the entire process lifecycle (product and process development, process and plant engineering, process operations and maintenance), and (ii) how Siemens’ existing software portfolio for process industries can address those challenges to deliver value to our customers. As such, TAMs are responsible for looking after and closely interacting with customers and prospects.<br><br>An ideal candidate for this role will have a process modelling background and experience working in or with the pharmaceutical industry, along with strong communication skills and a business mindset.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Organizing and running account-specific user group meetings (virtual/on-site, lunch & learns)</li><li>Establish & sustain long-term relationships with customers based on understanding of current and future use cases.</li><li>Managing onboarding new users/sites & training & case-based workshops</li><li>Contributing to industry wide user communities that your account(s) are a member of and ensuring people from those accounts attend, benefit, etc.</li><li>Manage & monitor software usage with the aim to have growth in renewals</li><li>Expectation management and conflict resolution</li><li>Ensuring successful renewal opportunities at your accounts.</li><li>High level review of technical proposals</li><li>Account planning, incl. global view of key accounts</li><li>Launching bilateral co-creation projects</li><li>Providing industry level pre-sales support to sales reps for land opportunities from the define stage to closure</li><li>Providing industry level pre-sales support to sales reps for expand and adopt opportunities from the suspect stage to closure</li><li>Involving services colleagues, product management, and relevant product experts / subject matter experts from competence centers in topics relevant to your customers.</li><li>Keeping industry knowledge up-to-date and relevant through client interaction, conference attendance and literature surveying and attending and presenting at relevant conferences and workshops to represent Siemens as Industry Expert</li><li>Attendance at trade shows and conferences depending on expected audience</li><li>Gathering requirements, user feedback and enhancement requests</li><li>Develop industry-specific use-cases and bring them to market </li><ul><li>Contribute to collateral development & maintenance</li><li>Strategic marketing (webinar series, hands-on sessions, events) </li><li>Work with demand generation and marketing to execute social selling approach via LinkedIn <br></li></ul></ul><strong>Requirements:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Robust background in the pharmaceutical sector, demonstrated through significant professional experience or advanced academic qualifications (e.g., Ph.D. or equivalent research).</li><li>Experience in process modeling, with a particular understanding of the overall methodology and the value it brings to the industry.</li><li>Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, adept at articulating complex ideas, delivering compelling presentations to diverse stakeholders, and cultivating strong collaborative relationships internally and externally.</li><li>Proficiency in relevant software applications and digital platforms.</li><li>Proactive and results-oriented mindset, coupled with a keen understanding of business drivers, focused on identifying opportunities, driving growth, and delivering measurable value.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Why us?<br><br></strong>Working at Siemens Software means flexibility - Choosing between working at home and the office at other times is the norm here.
