Veeva Systems is seeking a Consultant for our Nitro Services team. Veeva Nitro is a life sciences-specific commercial data warehouse that delivers fast and actionable business insights.</span></div> <div></div> <div><span>As a Consultant – Nitro Services, you will be a key member of our Professional Services team, engaging with customers from implementation through to ongoing operational success. You will participate in implementing Veeva Nitro, guiding customers on solution design and configuration, and transition seamlessly into providing post-go-live managed services and support. This role requires a blend of technical data warehousing skills, consulting acumen, and a passion for customer success in the life sciences industry. This is a remote, full-time, permanent role, potentially supporting multiple clients.</span></div> <div></div> <div><span>This is a customer-facing role. Veeva Systems does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B, OPT) for this employment position.</span></div> </div> <div> <div> <h3>What You’ll Do</h3> <ul> <ul> <li><b>Implementation & Solution Design:</b></li> <li>Participate in workshops to understand customer requirements for their commercial data warehouse.</li> <li>Assist in designing and configuring Veeva Nitro solutions, including data models, ETL processes, security, and reporting objects, based on best practices.</li> <li>Support data migration, integration, and validation activities during implementation projects.</li> <li>Guide customers on leveraging their data assets effectively within Nitro.</li> <li>Coordinate with External and Internal Teams to understand their system and build scalable solutions.</li> <li><b>Post-Go-Live Support & Managed Services:</b></li> <li>Provide ongoing consulting and administrative support for multiple Veeva Nitro clients.</li> <li>Manage and monitor data loading processes, ensuring data quality and troubleshooting issues.</li> <li>Perform configuration enhancements and optimizations based on evolving client needs.</li> <li>Assist clients with the creation, maintenance, and best practices for reports and dashboards using Nitro Explorer and connected BI tools.</li> <li>Maintain production and sandbox environments, including release management support.</li> <li>Triage, troubleshoot, and resolve client-reported issues.</li> <li><b>General:</b></li> <li>Manage client interactions, set expectations, and provide clear, effective communication.</li> <li>Develop deep subject matter expertise on Veeva Nitro and life sciences commercial data domains.</li> <li>Contribute to internal initiatives, knowledge sharing, and best practice development.</li> <li>Uphold Veeva Values, including “Do the Right Thing” and “Customer Success.”</li> </ul> </ul> </div> </div> <div> <div> <h3>Requirements</h3> <ul> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.</li> <li>3+ years of experience in data warehousing, business intelligence, ETL development, or data management/integration roles.</li> <li>Hands-on experience with SQL for data querying, manipulation, and analysis.</li> <li>Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and ETL principles.</li> <li>Experience in a customer-facing role, demonstrating consulting, requirements gathering, and communication skills.</li> <li>Proven ability to manage tasks, prioritize, and work independently in a remote setting.</li> <li>Ability to quickly learn new technologies, adapt to changing environments, and translate business needs into technical solutions.</li> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li> <li>Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States.</li> </ul> </ul> </div> </div> <div> <div> <h3>Nice to Have</h3> <ul> <ul> <li>Direct hands-on experience implementing or managing Veeva Nitro.</li> <li>Experience working within or consulting for the life sciences (pharmaceutical, biotech, medical devices) industry, particularly with commercial data (sales, marketing, CRM, HCO/HCP data).</li> <li>Experience with other Veeva applications (e.g., Veeva CRM, Veeva Vault, Veeva Network MDM).</li> <li>Experience with cloud data warehouse/ Lakehouse platforms (e.g., AWS Redshift, Snowflake, Databricks ).</li> <li>Proficiency with BI visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Qlik).</li> <li>Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) concepts or systems.</li> <li>Experience working across the full lifecycle of a software implementation project.</li> </ul> </ul> </div> </div> <div> <div> <h3>Perks & Benefits</h3> <ul> <ul> <li>Medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance</li> <li>Flexible PTO and company paid holidays</li> <li>Retirement programs</li> <li>1% charitable giving program</li> </ul> </ul> </div> </div> <div> <div> <h3>Compensation</h3> <ul> <ul> <li>Base pay: $70,000 – $140,000</li> <li>The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role.
