About the position

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for cleanliness and organization of the warehouse
  • Conduct in and out inspections for all equipment leaving the warehouse
  • Assist the manager with inventory management at the facility
  • Manage inventory of all tools and rigging coming into and leaving the facility
  • Interpret specifications and work orders
  • Requisition, obtain, and distribute supplies and materials
  • Assist with resolving problems with the Warehouse Manager
  • Read, prepare, collect, and maintain reports

Requirements

  • 3-4 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience working in one or more construction craft roles as a helper or laborer
  • Basic knowledge of the craft assigned
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Knowledge of MIC Health and Safety programs and project-specific regulations
  • Ability to compute basic numbers, read scales, and use simple fractions
  • Ability to work well under pressure and within timelines
  • Developing knowledge in the fabrication, installation, or maintenance of construction components and systems
  • Must have all necessary licenses required for the area the work is to be performed, if applicable
  • Ability to understand and follow directions
  • Must have all necessary tools as per the craft-specific Helper Tool List
