About the position

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a positive role model and lead to team by performing all job duties in accordance with TEC values.
  • Work with Parts Manager to delegate tasks to warehouse team to achieve optimal workflow, coach and motivate team.
  • Train new warehouse staff and work with team members to provide a welcoming environment.
  • Promote a safe work environment through own actions and notify supervisor of any safety concerns.
  • Accurately enter information into inventory system and ensure all records are clear and accurate.
  • Work with Parts and Service Managers to create and maintain inventory levels of mobile repair units.
  • Assist team with all other warehouse duties as needed, including checking in stock and processing shipments.
  • Clean and organize warehouse and shelves, and monitor cleanliness and integrity of trucks.

Requirements

  • Solid knowledge of warehouse operations, preferably within Parts department.
  • Experience in warehouse lead role with successful experience training and coaching team members.
  • Experience in truck or trailer industry.
  • Basic computer skills to accurately enter data.
  • Professional demeanor and excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to motivate and communicate effectively with others.
  • Flexibility in schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Able to become forklift certified and operate a forklift.
  • Able to safely lift up to 50 lbs and meet all other physical requirements of the job.
  • Valid driver's license.
