About the position

Responsibilities

  • Manage warehouse associates, tracking attendance and performance.
  • Direct warehouse activities for efficient utilization of facilities.
  • Maintain process management, productivity measures, and quality controls.
  • Review and analyze critical success measures against targets.
  • Develop plans for improvement in order filling errors and service levels.
  • Respond to production problems with effective solutions.
  • Enforce compliance with policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Study and recommend improvements for inventory management and shipping processes.
  • Prepare and manage the department budget.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the facility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in warehouse management, including 2+ years in a supervisory role.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with associates.
  • Willingness to work extended hours and participate in weekend on-call rotation.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, systems, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
