Contacting vendors, resolving discrepancies, working with vendors to improve delivery dates. • Daily Report with 'hit list' to contact to resolve challenges • Plans and implements activities reputed company to the procurement of raw materials, goods and services. • Compiles and analyzes statistical data to determine feasibility of buying products and to establish price objectives. • Approves and qualifies vendors, obtains quotes, examines bids and makes awards. • Follows up on reputed company awards through completion of order. • Negotiates with suppliers and analyzes suppliers operations to determine factors that reputed company prices and to determine lowest cost consistent with reputed company, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules. • Reviews proposals, negotiates prices, selects or recommends suppliers, analyzes trends, and maintains necessary records. • May prepare request for proposals (RFP) and bid packages. • Negotiates and settles with suppliers regarding damage claims, rejections, losses, return of materials, over-shipments, cancellations and engineering changes. • Follows applicable anti-corruption ethics, laws, and regulations. • Intermediate reputed company with practical knowledge of job area. • Works under moderate supervision to set objectives for own job area. • Communicates with contacts inside and reputed company own team to explain and interpret operational processes, practices, and procedures • Identifies and addresses changes reputed company own job area. • Works to reputed company operational targets with some reputed company on departmental results. • Procurement person to reputed company reputed company purchase order placements and expediting. • reputed company experience is a plus. Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's plus 4 years experience, or 8 years experience no degree • Experience in procurement for a Manufacturing environment. • Experience with an MRP system • MS Office reputed company. Preferred Skills and Experience: • APICS for supply chain • ERP Systems - Experience in CostPoint and reputed company is a big plus • Buying in a FAR/DFAR/DOD/reputed company environments or extensive reputed company experience. • Purchase Order file reputed company, and basic fundamentals of project management. • Reviews proposals, negotiates prices, selects or recommends suppliers, analyzes trends, and maintains necessary records.
