Your Future Team You will be joining the Finance Business Partner team within the FP&A organization, specifically focused on driving strategic projects. This role reports to our Head of FP&A Business Partners - Strategic Initiatives and is fully remote, with a PST timezone preference. Responsibilities We are looking for a dynamic finance professional to help shape the future of one of the fastest-growing companies in the market. You enjoy diving into intricate analyses, while also stepping back to understand the big picture. You look to tackle challenging problems and are motivated to find innovate solutions for improving processes. In this role, your responsibilities will include: Oversee the product costing model in Anaplan and gsheets to forecast (quarterly, annual and long-term) product costs Own all cost attribution models for COGS and R&D, partnering closely with Engineering, Finance, Product and Platform teams to understand cost drivers and refine models and assumptions Engage with Product and Platform teams to create unit metrics on the cost to serve and product costing to aid in profitability analysis Partner closely with Engineering to drive related automation and process improvement initiatives Provide data-driven insights to support product and platform leaders with strategic decision-making and help promote efficient capital allocation across the company Use visualization and mapping tools such as Tableau, Gsheets and other data analytics tools to conduct analysis and insight Qualifications Minimum Qualifications A minimum of 7+ years of experience in financial planning, or similar role Deep technical know-how in building financial models, balancing complexity with simplicity Experience using BI tools and technologies (e.g. Tableau, Anaplan, etc.) Strong critical thinking, organizational, interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills Experience working in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment A curiosity to learn and the initiative to act Continuous improvement mindset, with experience implementing process improvements that aim to help simplify and scale Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field Technology or Software / SaaS industry experience Compensation At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate\'s skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are: Zone A: $137,700 - $179,775 Zone B: $124,200 - $162,150 Zone C: $114,300 - $149,225 This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
