Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Logistics Coordinator to manage ambient and frozen logistics operations for assigned customer accounts. This role oversees order processing, inventory management, freight coordination, and customer service, while supervising Junior Logistics Coordinators.

Responsibilities

Manage ambient and frozen customer accounts

Supervise Junior Logistics Coordinators

Process and verify customer orders and purchase orders

Confirm shipments and invoice customers

Coordinate with manufacturing teams on freezer inventory

Track and balance third-party warehouse inventory

Schedule and manage FTL and LTL freight

Invoice recurring storage fees

Communicate with customers and vendors via phone and email

Resolve service issues and ensure timely follow-up

Approve and dispute vendor invoices as needed

Maintain accurate records and databases

Identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities

Meet all order processing, receiving, and invoicing deadlines

Provide after-hours and weekend on-call coverage as required

Assist with special projects as needed

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of logistics, freight, or customer service experience

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and Google Docs

Excellent organizational, analytical, and multitasking skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Professional, dependable, and team-oriented

Education

Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent related experience

Physical Requirements

Ability to sit for extended periods and work at a computer
