We are looking for articulate, engaging conversationalists to join paid online voice chat sessions.
This is a remote, flexible side gig you can do from home.

Job Overview
Are you a lively communicator with a passion for engaging conversations? Do you enjoy helping others and making meaningful connections? This remote role offers an exciting opportunity to get paid for chatting online!

If love making conversation and possess excellent communication skills, this position is perfect for you to work from anywhere while earning a competitive hourly rate.

Requirements

  • Fluency in English is required (North american accent)
  • Great conversational skills.
  • Can work from a quiet environment with no background noises.
  • Has access to a microphone (high-quality is a plus and will be rewarded)

What you will do
1. Join online voice-only chat rooms (no camera)
2. Have natural 1-on-1 conversations with other participants
3. Conversations are recorded to help train next-generation voice AI
4. Sessions are 15 minutes per conversation

Verification process (required to earn)
To be eligible, you must first be verified.
1. Sign up: https://app.oto.earth/
2. Join the Open Room (unpaid) on Mondays or Thursdays
3. Complete at least one 15-minute conversation
4. We review your session and verify qualifying users
(Verification may take up to 1 week)
5. Once verified, you can join paid sessions

If you are not approved the first time, you may try again.
Tip: Test different microphones (laptop mic, headset, USB mic) and use the one with the cleanest sound.

Minimum requirements for verification
- You actively engage and contribute to the conversation.
- No background noise or echo.
*A professional microphone is encouraged, but not required.

Pay & Earnings ($12–$20/hr)
- $12/h = Base pay: $8 USD/hour + verification bonus of $4/h
- Up to $20 USD/hour (rank bonuses)

Bonuses are based on:
1. Audio quality
2. Conversation engagement

You receive ranks (Bronze / Silver / Gold) based on user feedback.
