About the Role The Nurse Educator shapes the educational landscape of nursing through expertise in simulation, curriculum design, teaching, clinical practice, and research. This role involves translating nursing theory and practice standards into educational products that ensure clinical relevance and adherence to evidence-based practices. The Nurse Educator collaborates with cross-functional teams on software product development and implementation, enhancing the user experience for students and faculty. Responsibilities include conducting efficacy research on educational products and engaging with customers to identify new product needs and gather feedback. Responsibilities • Provide nursing expertise in developing and enhancing educational products. • Evaluate the clinical accuracy of subject matter expert recommendations. • Monitor product medical content and treatment protocols to ensure alignment with evidence-based practices. • Identify and implement opportunities for product improvement through user feedback and research. • Analyze customer-reported data to assess clinical effectiveness and recommend enhancements. • Engage in scholarly research, present at conferences, publish in peer-reviewed journals, and participate in nursing educator events. • Conduct research on learning outcomes and user feedback to evaluate and enhance product effectiveness. • Develop strategies to improve the educational impact of products based on research findings. • Disseminate relevant content through webinars, faculty events, and leadership conferences. • Cultivate a deep understanding of customer needs and product performance through direct engagement with users. • Conduct regular outreach to gather insights on product usage and identify unmet needs. • Provide research-based insights to guide product development strategies. • Collaborate with subject matter experts across product lines. • Apply Agile methodology to support continuous product development and improvement. • Enhance customer and product knowledge by reviewing training team’s faculty onboarding conversations, engaging with sales teams, analyzing support team reports, and attending customer conferences. Requirements • Master of Science in Nursing • Current licensure as RN or APRN and recent clinical practice • Clinical teaching experience at the undergraduate and graduate level • PhD or DNP in Nursing, Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE), Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) preferred • Experience in integration of technology in nursing education or software development is helpful • Demonstrated experience in content and simulation development and integration within nursing curriculum is preferred About the business: A global leader in information and analytics, we help researchers and healthcare professionals advance science and improve health outcomes for the benefit of society. U.S. National Base Pay Range: $102,800 - $171,300. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates.
