Join our CF R 7 SW team in Siemens Digital Industries Software as a Senior Accountant and drive end-to-end accounting activities from journal entries to financial reporting, while driving process improvements and system transformation.

This position is part of the General Accounting team and reports to the Head of Accounting. We are a dynamic and collaborative team that thrives in a fast-paced, international environment.

Responsibilities:

  • You will play a key role in driving our general accounting activities, taking ownership of day-to-day operations and ensuring a high-quality close process.

  • During month end and quarter end, you will prepare journal entries, perform balance sheet reconciliations, and analyse financial results to ensure accuracy and completeness.

  • Leveraging your expertise, you will assess complex financial transactions, ensuring proper classification and full compliance with GAAP and internal accounting standards.

  • You will help shape global standardization efforts, enhance system efficiency, and strengthen our governance framework to meet both group and local reporting requirements.

  • With a strong interest in technology, you will also support the implementation of our new SAP ERP system (S/4Hana) and other finance and reporting tools.

  • Collaboration will be central to your success as you work closely with finance and business partners to deliver clear accounting guidance that supports informed decisions and operational excellence.

Qualification:

  • Have a finance/accounting degree, with a minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in a similar role / CPA preferred.

  • Display solid accounting knowledge, analytical skills and good attention to detail.

  • Be self-motivated with a strong work ethic, capable of working independently or as part of a team.

  • Have solid experience with financial close and reporting systems such as SAP or NetSuite, along with proficiency in data visualization and analytics tools like Power BI and Tableau.

  • Ideally have language experience in Japanese or Korean.

  • Be excited to collaborate with our finance and business teams in the office for 2-3 days per week.
