Introduction

The Warehouse Admin/Sales Assistant will support both warehouse operations and sales activities. This dual role is essential in ensuring smooth logistical operations while also assisting the sales team in achieving their targets. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and possess strong communication skills.

Duties & Responsibilities

Warehouse Administration

  • Inventory Management: Oversee and manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate records are maintained and stock levels are optimized.
  • Order Processing: Process incoming and outgoing orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to customers.
  • Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with warehouse supervisor to ensure delivery of goods as per client requests.
  • Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, ensuring all items are stored in their designated locations.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the warehouse.
  • Reporting: Generate and analyze reports on inventory levels, order statuses, and warehouse performance.

 

Sales Assistance

  • Customer Support: Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, generating relevant paperwork, and processing returns or exchanges.
  • Sales Coordination: Assist the sales team with order entry, customer follow-ups.
  • Sales Reporting: Prepare sales reports and forecasts to aid in the sales strategy planning and decision-making process.
  • Promotions: Support promotional activities and campaigns.
  • Feedback Collection: Gather customer feedback and relay important information to the sales and product development teams.

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Education: Matric
  • Experience: Previous experience in warehouse administration, sales support, or a similar role is required of at least 2 years.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with pos systems.
  • Experience with health and safety and first aid training will be advantageous
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions efficiently.
