Position Overview: 

HALO is seeking a visionary and technically skilled Analytics Designer to lead the design and development of enterprise-level analytics solutions. This role will partner closely with business stakeholders across all units to understand data needs and translate them into actionable insights using descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics. As we build a centralized enterprise data warehouse integrating data from various ERP, CRM, and other transactional systems, this role will be instrumental in shaping the analytics layer that drives strategic decision-making and business growth.


Key Responsibilities:


Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with business leaders to develop analytics requirements and translate them into scalable reporting and dashboard solutions.

Analytics Design

  • Architect and implement descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics using modern BI tools and statistical modeling techniques.

Enterprise Reporting

  • Design and develop enterprise-wide reporting frameworks that unify data from multiple source systems.

AI/ML Integration

  • Evaluate and incorporate AI/ML models to enhance analytics capabilities, including forecasting, anomaly detection, and recommendation systems. 
  • Stay current with emerging AI/ML technologies and trends, and proactively recommend opportunities to apply them within the enterprise data ecosystem. 
  • Guide stakeholders on how AI/ML can be leveraged to grow the business, improve decision-making, and uncover hidden opportunities.

Visual Analytics Design & Evangelism 

  • Lead the development of intuitive, interactive visual analytics that enable users to explore data dynamically and uncover insights quickly.
  • Prioritize visual storytelling and dashboard design over static data tables to improve comprehension, engagement, and decision-making.
  • Champion the adoption of visual analytics across the organization by educating business users on best practices and the value of visual data exploration.
  • Utilize platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent to build scalable, enterprise-grade visualizations tailored to diverse stakeholder needs.
  • Continuously gather user feedback to refine visual designs and ensure they align with evolving business questions and workflows.
  • Establish and promote design standards for visual analytics to ensure consistency, accessibility, and performance across the enterprise.

Enablement & Adoption 

  • Educate and empower business users to interpret and act on analytics insights to drive operational and strategic improvements.

Data Strategy Alignment

  • Ensure analytics solutions align with enterprise data architecture, governance, and performance standards.

Documentation & Standards

  • Maintain clear documentation of analytics designs, data flows, and model assumptions to support transparency and scalability.
Requirements

  

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field. 
  • 5+ years of experience in analytics design, business intelligence, or data science roles. 
  • Strong proficiency in tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Snowflake, and SQL. 
  • Experience designing and deploying AI/ML models in a business context. 
  • Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts and enterprise data architecture. 
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Ability to translate complex data into intuitive visualizations and actionable insights.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with ETL tools and orchestration frameworks (e.g., Apache Airflow, dbt).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and API integrations.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools like Jira.
  • Exposure to value mapping and ROI-driven analytics planning 

Compensation: The estimated salary range for this position is between $100,000 - $130,000 annually. Please note that this pay range serves as a general guideline and reflects a broad spectrum of labor markets across the US. While it is uncommon for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the range, compensation decisions are influenced by various factors. At HALO, these include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's work experience, location, education and training, key skills, internal equity, external market data, and broader market and business considerations.
