They are seeking a Shopify UI/UX Designer to craft high-performing digital experiences and optimize the digital storefront for a seamless shopping experience.


Responsibilities

  • Design intuitive, visually striking interfaces for our Shopify storefront that reflect our brand identity.
  • Create responsive layouts optimized for mobile, tablet, and desktop experiences.
  • Conduct user research, analyze customer journeys, and apply insights to improve navigation, product discovery, and checkout flows.
  • Build wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to visualize and test concepts before implementation.
  • Work closely with the Shopify Development team to ensure pixel-perfect implementation of your designs.
  • Provide detailed design documentation and assets for seamless development handoff.
  • Conduct A/B tests to refine design decisions and improve key metrics like conversion rate, bounce rate, and average order value.
  • Use heatmaps, analytics, and feedback tools to guide iterative design improvements.
  • Design high-impact collection pages, landing pages, and product detail pages that showcase accessories and sunglasses in their best light.

Skills

  • Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer with a focus on Shopify or e-commerce platforms.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating clean, modern, and user-centric web design.
  • Expertise in tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or Photoshop.
  • Understanding of HTML/CSS (not required for coding but to communicate with developers).
  • Knowledge of UX best practices, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and responsive design principles.
  • Experience collaborating with developers, marketers, and creative teams.
  • Strong attention to detail, typography, and visual storytelling.
  • Experience with fashion, accessories, or lifestyle brands.
  • Familiarity with Shopify theme customization and basic Liquid knowledge.
  • Understanding of SEO-friendly design and accessibility standards.
  • Experience in creating interactive prototypes and conducting usability testing.
