<h2>Overview</h2> <p>BerryDunn is seeking a per diem Revenue Cycle Consultant for its healthcare consulting practice.  The seasoned Consultant has a good understanding of revenue cycle operations, data, metrics, and best-practices and is able to analyze data and processes within the healthcare eco system. This person will also be proficient with revenue cycle regulations, operations and management. The Revenue Cycle Consultant will help serve client needs with assessments, interim management, EMR/PAS implementation, charge master analysis, transparent pricing initiatives, and revenue cycle system and process optimization and transformation.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Travel Expectations</strong>: Future travel to client sites can reach up to 25% in a year.</p> <h2>You Will</h2> <ul> <li>Work with clients directly every day</li> <li>Perform or assist in meeting the various revenue cycle needs of our clients, whether on a consulting or interim basis, based on your expertise</li> <li>Learn new skills given a broad variety of assignments</li> <li>Prepare and present client deliverables</li> </ul> <h2>You Have</h2> <ul> <li>Deep healthcare revenue cycle experience</li> <li>Knowledge and understanding of government and commercial payor rules and regulations</li> <li>Familiarity with various electronic medical record systems (EMR)/patient accounting systems (PAS)</li> <li>Familiarity with revenue cycle best-practices and key-performance indicators (KPIs)</li> <li>Ability to perform and interpret research of respective regulations</li> <li>Ability to analyze billing, financial, and operational data in to identify revenue cycle opportunities and risks</li> <li>Experience working within health care organizations</li> <li>Strong customer service focus</li> <li>High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office suite products; data management skills preferred</li> <li>Excellent communication skills, both written and oral</li> <li>Strong organizational and time management skills</li> <li>Ability to work alone and also as a team</li> </ul> <h2>Compensation Details</h2> <p><em>The hourly rate for this role is $65 -$100 per hour. This rate range represents BerryDunn’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible compensation at the time of posting. If an applicant possesses experience, education, or other qualifications more than the minimum requirements for this posting, that applicant is encouraged to apply, and a final rate may then be based on those additional qualifications; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
