Job Description
The Web Developer is responsible for designing, coding, testing, and maintaining websites and web applications that meet both user and business needs. This role requires strong technical proficiency in front-end and/or back-end web technologies, a keen eye for design and usability, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams—including design, marketing, and IT—to deliver responsive, accessible, and high-performing digital experiences.

Web Design & Development
  • Develop, test, and maintain web applications and websites using modern frameworks and programming languages (e.g., HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, Vue.js, Node.js, PHP, Python, etc.).
  • Implement responsive and adaptive designs to ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
  • Build reusable code, components, and libraries to optimize development efficiency.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and collaborate with designers to refine usability and interactivity.
Back-End Development
  • Develop and maintain server-side logic, database structures, and APIs (RESTful or GraphQL).
  • Integrate front-end elements with back-end services.
  • Ensure application scalability, security, and performance.
Website Maintenance & Optimization
  • Perform regular site audits to identify and resolve performance, security, or SEO issues.
  • Monitor website uptime, speed, and functionality.
  • Implement best practices for caching, load times, and code optimization.
  • Conduct version control and deploy updates using Git and CI/CD pipelines.
Collaboration & Project Management
  • Work closely with designers, content creators, marketing teams, and IT staff to translate requirements into functional web solutions.
  • Participate in project planning, sprint meetings, and code reviews.
  • Provide technical documentation and contribute to system architecture discussions.
Security & Compliance
  • Implement and maintain best practices for web security, including user authentication, and vulnerability prevention.
  • Ensure compliance with ADA accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1), data privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA), and organizational policies.
  • Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned by your manager.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven experience (3–5 years) in developing and maintaining dynamic websites or web applications.
  • Strong proficiency with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, responsive design frameworks).
  • Experience with at least one major front-end framework (React, Vue.js, Angular) and one server-side language (Node.js, PHP, Python, Ruby, etc.).
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, and AJAX.
  • Proficiency with version control systems (Git/GitHub/GitLab).
  • Understanding of UX/UI principles, web accessibility, and SEO best practices.
  • Experience with Wordpress

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience optimizing web flows for sales conversion.
  • Experience with DevOps tools (Docker, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines).
  • Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Experience creating unit, integration, and End-to-End (E2E) tests .
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • Familiarity with AI coding tools. (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor)
  • Graphic design experience or proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or Figma.
