Job Overview

The Events Marketing Manager is a strategic, highly organized, and proactive marketing professional responsible for leading the planning, execution, and optimization of the company's event and experiential marketing strategy. This role goes beyond logistics and execution, with a strong focus on event strategy, cross-functional alignment, audience engagement, brand experience, and measurable business impact.

The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and a hands-on operator who thrives in a fast-paced environment, anticipates needs proactively, and ensures every event supports broader company growth, brand visibility, customer engagement, and pipeline objectives.

Key ResponsibilitiesEvent Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and manage the overall event marketing strategy aligned with company growth, brand awareness, customer engagement, and pipeline generation goals
  • Identify and evaluate strategic event opportunities, including conferences, tradeshows, sponsorships, executive dinners, webinars, partner events, and customer programs
  • Create annual and quarterly event roadmaps, budgets, and success metrics in collaboration with leadership, Sales, and Marketing teams
  • Establish event objectives, KPIs, target audiences, and post-event measurement frameworks to evaluate business impact and ROI
  • Recommend new event concepts, engagement strategies, and experiential opportunities to strengthen brand presence and market positioning
Event & Tradeshow Management
  • Own end-to-end planning and execution for tradeshows, conferences, and marketing events, partnering with Demand Generation and Content Marketing teams on post-event follow-up
  • Lead all event logistics, including booth strategy, vendor management, sponsorship deliverables, shipping, travel coordination, on-site execution, and communications
  • Partner with Creative, Content, and Sales teams to ensure cohesive messaging and strong attendee experiences across all touchpoints
  • Develop detailed event timelines, project plans, and operational checklists to support successful execution
  • Manage event budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships while identifying opportunities for efficiency and optimization
  • Oversee lead capture processes, attendee engagement initiatives, and post-event follow-up strategies
Performance Measurement & Optimization
  • Track and analyze event performance metrics, including lead generation, pipeline influence, attendee engagement, customer retention impact, and ROI
  • Deliver pre- and post-event recaps along with strategic recommendations to leadership and stakeholders
  • Use insights and analytics to continuously improve event strategy, audience targeting, and engagement tactics
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing Operations teams to ensure event attribution and reporting accuracy
Cross-Functional Marketing Leadership
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Marketing, Sales, Product, Leadership, and external partners for event-related initiatives
  • Support integrated marketing campaigns tied to key events, product launches, thought leadership initiatives, and strategic partnerships
  • Help align event strategy with broader brand, communications, and demand generation efforts
  • Contribute to executive visibility opportunities, including speaking engagements, sponsorships, customer events, and industry partnerships
Marketing Operations & Organization
  • Maintain event calendars, project plans, budgets, and campaign timelines with strong attention to detail and accountability
  • Support the development of presentations, promotional materials, sales enablement assets, and event communications as needed
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging event technologies to identify new opportunities and best practices
  • Ensure all event deliverables and experiences align with brand standards and company messaging
Requirements

What You Bring
  • 5-7+ years of experience in event marketing, experiential marketing, tradeshow management, or integrated marketing
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic event programs that support business growth and brand objectives
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Experience managing budgets, vendors, sponsorships, and complex event logistics
  • Proficiency with HubSpot, CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, and event reporting tools
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience measuring campaign and event performance
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Collaborative, proactive, and solutions-oriented approach
