Neuromodulation Our Neuromodulation business includes implantable devices compatible with mobile technology to help people who suffer from chronic pain and movement disorders. These non-opioid therapies allow us to provide interventional pain therapy to patients throughout the pain continuum.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced, passionate, strategic medical device expert to join our Abbott Brain Therapies Marketing team as a Field Marketing Manager, focusing on the US Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) Market.

This role will serve as conduit between the sales team and marketing organization, being a go-to resource for the Brain Therapies team to assist with regional business development tactics & execution, DBS product & therapy education, management of key account & key opinion leader relationships, and feedback to the US Product Marketing team.

Ultimately, the incumbent in this position will be regarded as a technical, market expert related to neuromodulation therapies with broad knowledge of related fields.

What You’ll Work On

  • Assist in the development and spearhead field execution of strategic marketing plans to meet Americas Abbott Brain Therapies revenue, profitability, and market penetration goals, ensuring collaboration and alignment with cross-functional partners.
  • Ensure the sales teams engage in the most up to date products, initiatives, tools, and program delivery with physicians and patients. Success is defined as achieving key metrics for each program in collaboration with field teams.
  • Become the voice of Abbott US Brain Therapies Marketing in the field and champion regional priorities, providing feedback on messaging, promotions, and market releases.
  • Execute marketing campaigns within the different geographies, tailored to specific geographical needs.
  • Track actuals vs. target and other key metrics such as closes, losses, and growth within accounts, and adjusting tactics as needed to achieve targets.
  • Analyze complex data sets to determine appropriate targets for campaigns, understanding how to measure success of delivery. Create local launch reporting including metrics and target goal achievement.
  • Drive customized Patient and Physician field marketing programs, including Patient Advocacy Group partnered events.
  • Serve as project manager to oversee local marketing initiatives to completion, including the development, delivery, tracking, and execution of program offerings based on local needs and objectives.
  • Measure impact of key programs and optimize resource allocations for future initiatives.
  • Engage with KOL’s and top accounts to drive preference toward Abbott Brain Therapies products.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with new and existing customers, KOLs, Patient Advocacy Groups and industry leaders.
  • Explore and implement additional solutions to help drive strategic focus for the field teams.
  • Uses sales and market research data to diagnose state of the business, lead the creation of cross-functional marketing strategies, drive execution and sales force activation.
